Mission:

As a Subsea Design Engineer, your mission is to support the design and development of subsea systems and components, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards. You will contribute to innovative engineering solutions for subsea installations, taking into account project specifications and operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop subsea structures, piping systems, or equipment used in offshore energy installations.
  • Conduct detailed engineering calculations, analyses, and reports to ensure design integrity.
  • Prepare technical documentation, such as drawings, material specifications, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including structural, mechanical, and fabrication teams, to optimize designs.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and testing phases.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Subsea Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of subsea engineering principles, technical standards (e.g., API, DNV), and design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in mechanical system design, hydrodynamic principles, and material selection for subsea conditions.
  • Experience in the energy sector (e.g., oil & gas, renewables) focusing on subsea systems or components.
  • High level of technical accuracy and attention to detail when performing engineering tasks.

Software:

  • Proficient with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with finite element analysis tools or similar for structural/hydrodynamic assessment.
