Mission:
As a Procurement Specialist in the Energy sector, your mission is to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain processes to ensure cost-efficient, timely, and compliant acquisition of goods and services required for the company’s operations and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Conduct market research and identify potential suppliers, fostering competitive bidding and supplier engagement.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers to optimize costs and ensure quality standards.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing issues related to delivery, quality, or contract terms.
- Prepare and analyze procurement data, including supplier reports, pricing trends, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to define procurement needs.
- Ensure accurate preparation and documentation of purchase orders, invoices, and procurement records.
- Manage risk assessments related to supplier availability and material shortages.
