Mission:
The Cost Controller will ensure accurate and efficient management of project costs throughout the project lifecycle. The role focuses on monitoring budget performance, providing financial reporting, and contributing to the overall cost optimization objectives within the Energy sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project cost control systems and procedures.
- Monitor project budgets, commitments, and expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved financial plans.
- Prepare cost forecasts and consolidated cost reports for project stakeholders.
- Analyze variances between planned and actual costs, identifying causes and proposing corrective measures.
- Ensure proper allocation of costs across projects and compliance with company financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with project teams to update cost estimates and assess financial risks.
- Participate in cost reviews and provide cost visibility throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support internal and external audits related to project cost management.
Profile:
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and methodologies, particularly in project-based environments.
- Familiarity with financial reporting processes and budgeting techniques within the Energy sector.
- Proficiency in analyzing cost performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Solid understanding of contractual and financial documentation.
- Experience in project scheduling and resource allocation processes.
