Mission:
Supervise and manage piping construction, installation, and testing activities on energy sector projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of piping works in compliance with project requirements and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to resolve technical and logistical issues.
- Inspect and verify piping installations, including alignment, material compliance, and welding quality.
- Ensure adherence to quality control processes during fabrication, assembly, and testing phases.
- Monitor site progress, report deviations, and propose corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at the worksite.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to verify that completed systems meet performance and operational requirements.
Profile:
- Strong technical knowledge of piping systems, materials, welding techniques, and construction standards applicable in the energy sector.
- Familiarity with industry-specific codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ISO.
- Ability to interpret and utilize piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple tasks effectively on-site.
- Expertise in managing project risks and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Software:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting designs through AutoCAD or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools for documentation purposes.
