Job Description

Mission:

The Instrumentation Supervisor will oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems in energy production facilities. The role involves ensuring that all instrumentation equipment and systems function efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with operational and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation and commissioning of instrumentation equipment.
  • Monitor the performance of instrumentation systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot instrumentation equipment to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with other teams for the integration of instrumentation systems into broader operational workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety policies, and project specifications.
  • Review and interpret technical documentation, such as loop diagrams, P&IDs, and control schematics.
  • Oversee calibration and testing of critical instrumentation.
  • Manage the work schedule for instrumentation technicians and contractors.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members during project execution and routine maintenance.
  • Report on project progress and system performance to relevant stakeholders.

Profile:

  • A strong academic background in instrumentation, control systems, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial instrumentation systems and components.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for instrumentation in energy facilities.
  • Strong technical aptitude for reading and interpreting technical documents and diagrams.
  • Strong organizational and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in energy or industrial settings.

Software:

  • Proficiency in basic industrial software tools for instrumentation, such as SCADA systems and PLC programming interfaces.
