Job Description

Mission:
The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems to support energy production processes across renewable and conventional energy sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and evaluate technical specifications for instrumentation devices and systems.
  • Design system architectures for monitoring and controlling energy production.
  • Perform calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during project execution.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate instrumentation within larger control systems.
  • Draft technical documentation including wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and system schematics.
  • Provide support throughout the project’s lifecycle, from commissioning to system maintenance.

Profile:

  • Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Automation, or a related discipline.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical instrumentation principles and industrial measurement techniques.
  • Familiarity with energy sector processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in interpreting electrical and instrumentation drawings.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring system accuracy and reliability.

Software:

  • Knowledge of an industrial automation design platform (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
  • Basic understanding of a control system platform (e.g., DCS or SCADA).
