Mission:
The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems to support energy production processes across renewable and conventional energy sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate technical specifications for instrumentation devices and systems.
- Design system architectures for monitoring and controlling energy production.
- Perform calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during project execution.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate instrumentation within larger control systems.
- Draft technical documentation including wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and system schematics.
- Provide support throughout the project’s lifecycle, from commissioning to system maintenance.
Profile:
- Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Automation, or a related discipline.
- Solid knowledge of electrical instrumentation principles and industrial measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with energy sector processes and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in interpreting electrical and instrumentation drawings.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring system accuracy and reliability.
Software:
- Knowledge of an industrial automation design platform (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
- Basic understanding of a control system platform (e.g., DCS or SCADA).
