Mission:
As a Mechanical Rotating Engineer, you will contribute to the design, operation, and maintenance of rotating equipment to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable performance of systems within the Energy sector.
Responsibilities:
- Perform technical evaluation and design review of rotating machinery, including turbines, compressors, pumps, and other equipment.
- Conduct root cause analyses to troubleshoot performance issues and propose effective solutions.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities for rotating equipment.
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, datasheets, and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Contribute to equipment selection and procurement, ensuring alignment with operational and environmental goals.
- Monitor and assess equipment performance, providing recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and sustainability standards in all engineering practices.
Profile:
- Strong understanding of rotating equipment design principles, manufacturing, and operational processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API and ASME.
- Proven knowledge of vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Experience with equipment selection, inspection, and failure analysis.
- Expertise in troubleshooting mechanical issues in complex systems.
Software:
- Proficiency in at least one engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD or SolidWorks).
