Mission:
To oversee and coordinate mechanical activities on-site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety protocols, and project schedules in the energy sector.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Ensure that all mechanical works are executed in accordance with approved designs, technical documentation, and applicable standards.
- Perform inspections to monitor quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Resolve on-site technical issues related to mechanical systems and liaise with the engineering team when required.
- Coordinate with other discipline supervisors to ensure smooth interdisciplinary workflows.
- Implement company safety policies and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage work schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee subcontractor performance.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation for ongoing mechanical activities.
Profile:
- Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of energy sector mechanical equipment and systems (e.g., turbines, piping, heat exchangers).
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Proven track record in managing construction, maintenance, or repair projects.
- Solid understanding of relevant safety regulations and industrial standards.
Software:
- Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) for reviewing designs.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) for scheduling purposes.
